Amalia Cudeiro, Ed.D. is a Founding Partner of Targeted Leadership Consulting.   She has extensive experience working with foundations and school districts to increase achievement and district effectiveness.  She has served as Superintendent of Bellevue School District in Washington, one of the highest performing districts in the state.  Prior to serving as superintendent, Dr. Cudeiro was Deputy Superintendent for Boston Public Schools’, with responsibilities including recruitment, selection, and training, of district and school leaders. Dr. Cudeiro served as a principal in the Santa Monica and Baldwin Park school districts in California and completed her doctorate at Harvard University where she was one of eight selected to participate in Harvard's Urban Superintendent’s Program.

Dr. Cudeiro was born in Cuba and is fully bilingual and bi-literate, with special sensitivity and experience working with diverse and multi-lingual students and families.
