Avery is the Associate Programmer for the Annapolis Film Festival. Avery comes to the AFF team with a background in film production. Most recently, Avery co-produced the documentary ANOTHER BODY (SXSW Special Jury Award, Sundance Catalyst). Avery has also worked on projects including Amy Berg's THE CASE AGAINST ADNAN SYED (HBO) and DOGS (Netflix), as well as Lisa Cortés’s EMPIRE OF EBONY (currently in post-production) with Roger Ross Williams’ One Story Up. Avery attended Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. As a recent transplant to Baltimore, you can find her exploring the city's arts scene in search of the latest exhibitions and restaurant openings.
