Pablo Alvarado

Pablo Alvarado has been a proud resident of Annapolis since 2012, where he enjoys life as a dedicated husband to his wonderful wife, Jesse, and a loving father to his two daughters, Hazel (32) and Olivia (10). He is also a proud grandfather to his delightful granddaughter, Kylie (10). While Pablo calls Annapolis home, the rest of his immediate family resides in Northern Virginia and Fredericksburg, VA.

Pablo and his family are first-generation immigrants from Nicaragua. They sought refuge in the United States due to political persecution in the late 1970s and early 1980s, eventually being granted political asylum—a milestone that allowed them to call this country home. Quentin’s values—faith, family, hard work, respect, and service—are deeply ingrained, shaped by the challenges and triumphs of his upbringing.

Professionally, Mr. Alvarado is an independent Certified Financial Planner based in Annapolis. His mission is to help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their life goals through strategic financial planning.

Pablo's connection with the Annapolis Film Festival began roughly 12 years ago, at a networking event downtown where he met Lee and Patti. Inspired by their vision for the festival, Pablo volunteered to get involved, a decision that has led to a rewarding journey with the organization. Over the years, he has taken on a leadership role in operations, focusing on venue setup and active participation in planning meetings. His dedication to the festival has grown alongside its expansion, and he looks forward to contributing to its continued evolution.

Pablo is honored to be considered for a role on the Annapolis Film Festival board of directors, eager to support its mission and play a part in its bright future.
