Stacie Jones Gentzler was born and raised in New Jersey, and is naturally a lifelong Bruce Springsteen fan. She is also a proud Penn State graduate (WE ARE!), a current graduate student at Arizona State (Forks Up!), and an adjunct instructor at Stevenson (Go Mustangs!). She's married to her college sweetheart, an IVF warrior, mom of a 6-year-old girl and rescue dog owner. She loves adventure travel, Crossfit, and she is a big fan of exploring our National Parks. Glacier is by far her favorite.
Stacie began her film career on the ground floor of the business, working tirelessly, with many little/no sleep days in the Production department. She eventually met a mentor who helped her grow and move into a Production Manager role (UPM), where she spent most of her career working on independent features in NY and along the East Coast. Her favorite role was as the Unit Production Manager on JC Chandor's breakout indie, Margin Call, which was nominated for an Oscar. She also worked on three films that premiered at Sundance, and many others that have toured the national and international festival circuits. Stacie decided family was more important to her than the long hours and travel, even though she thrived on the chaos of a working film set. She has moved into a producer role, working on smaller independent films, which seems to be her true calling.
