In this piercing portrait of obsession, Ruth Wilson (The Affair) portrays a bored government clerk whose life is thrown off balance when she is seduced by an ex-con played by Tom Burke (The Souvenir). Even though he’s a walking red flag with fake blonde hair, she flies to him like a moth to a flame and gets consumed by their passionate affair. As her life spirals out of control and his lies start piling up, she attempts to break free from the vicious cycle before it’s too late.
